Terms of service

These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) set forth the conditions for using the online shop (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) provided by mate Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”).

 

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms apply to all customers who use the Service.

 

Article 2 (Service Content)

The Service provides the sale of products and related services.

 

Article 3 (Formation of Sales Contract)

In the Service, a sales contract shall be deemed concluded when the customer places an order, the Company accepts the order, and payment has been completed.
Ownership of the product shall transfer to the customer at the time the Company delivers the product to the shipping carrier.

 

Article 4 (Product Characteristics)

The products handled by the Company are made from natural materials and are handcrafted. Therefore, variations in color, texture, weaving, and other characteristics may occur. Such variations are inherent characteristics of the products and do not constitute defects.

 

Article 5 (Delivery)

The Company will ship the products to the delivery address specified by the customer.
The Company shall not be liable beyond the extent permitted by applicable law for any delays in delivery caused by weather conditions, customs procedures, transportation circumstances, or other similar factors.

 

Article 6 (Intellectual Property Rights)

All copyrights and other intellectual property rights related to the text, images, designs, and other content displayed on the Service belong to the Company or their respective rightful owners. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or reproduction for publication is prohibited.

 

Article 7 (Prohibited Conduct)

Customers shall not engage in any acts that violate laws or public order and morals, or any other acts that the Company deems inappropriate in connection with the use of the Service.

 

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Company, and only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

 

Article 9 (Changes to the Terms)

The Company may revise these Terms as necessary.
Any revised Terms shall take effect at the time they are posted on the Service.

 

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
Any disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Japanese courts having jurisdiction over the location of the Company’s registered office.

 

Article 11 (Language)

These Terms are written in Japanese as the official language.
If translations into other languages are provided, the Japanese version shall prevail.
